EGG SALAD INGRIEDIENTS

  • Fresh farm eggs (Our recipe is based on 8 eggs)

  • Mayo

  • Kosher salt

  • black Pepper

DIRECTIONS

  • Place eggs in a pot and bring water to a boil. Once the water boils remove from the pot from the heat and place lid and set aside 10 to 12 min.

    Remove from hot water , cool and peel and then chop up.

    At this point is where your personal preference comes in on how smooth or chunky your egg salad will be.

    Once the eggs are at the consistency you want add salt , freshly ground black pepper and roughly 1/2 of mayo. Basing the mayo amount on 8 eggs.

  • Optional fresh chopped green onions

    set aside in fridge to cool

Bread selection

  • We used our homemade Crusty Italian bread. Used the end part but any part of the bread is fine. Should choose a bread that can hold up and good to dip. If not bread then a melba toast can work or your favorite crackers.

Egg salad sandwich without the sandwich. Great snack and great for work lunches. Enjoy!
